Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Sooty the Cat needs a home

Sooty has earned herself a reputation as Miss Independent. She's not aggressive with other cats, and she doesn't shy away from humans; she's just somewhat of a loner. Except for one thing: This girl will play fetch with a fuzzy ball like nobody's business! It is the cutest thing you've ever seen in your life. She'll even bring the ball back to you. No joke! She also enjoys going for rides in a stroller.Born in 2005, Sooty came to Best Friends when the shelter she was living in closed. She has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), and she's deaf. But she can live a long and happy life, and even live with other cats. Although cautious around them, she should also be able to live with dogs.Sooty doesn't need much. All she wants now is a home with a nice windowsill so she can sit in the sunlight and come to know you in her own, independent way. Oh - and maybe an occasional game of fuzz ball!As part of our Single* pets adoption special, Sooty qualifies for free adoption and a free flight to her new home!*Single pets do best as the only pet in the home.
