Adopt a Terrier / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (short coat)

Hi, my name is Pickle. Yep, it’s a catchy one, but my rescuer loves pickles and she loves me. Now that I have your attention, I’d love for you to get to know me and consider me as your new pup (even if you don’t like pickles, you’ll still like me). I’m about 2 years old, quite the adorable mix of breeds, 45 pounds and very well behaved. I’m a perfectly sized dog with a solid build. Look at my unique markings on my face…I have a perfect widow’s peak to compliment my super cute, bouncy ears.

I love to take long walks and I could be a great jogging partner, trail runner or dog park attendee too. I play well with other dogs and can also entertain myself with a fun toy. I’d really love a young, active dog in my new family to play with because I will be a great friend and playmate. I love to spend time outdoors in my yard and in the neighborhood. When I meet new people, I like to give little licks and I’m very interested in everything that’s going on around me, but I mind my manners and just take it all in and enjoy. I am a mellow guy inside the house and lively when the time is right.

In my foster home, I like to sit next to my foster Dad, rest my head on his arm and just look at him with my adoring eyes. I’m very thankful for this new life and can’t wait to join my forever family. My foster Dad says I’m a chill dog with so many great qualities. I can shake with both paws, I don’t get on the couch, I’m potty trained, kennel trained, great on my leash walks and I really listen well. I am very curious while taking car rides, but I sit in the back and just look out the window.
