POOR SWEET JACOB has been in rescue for almost 2 yrs now. He just wants his own bff, his own human that he can give kisses to and snuggle with. Won't you meet with him? His pictures do him no justice. he is a very Handsome Guy ;)
Jacob was known as the ball park stray. He lived there for well over a year, eluding any capture including the dog warden. He was fed over the fence by a kind 62 yr old man. I learned about Jacob and after a months time was able to trap him. Jacob was heartworm positive but has been treated and doing well. Jacob is 3yr old Chocolate lab/American bull terrier mix, weighing about 65lbs. Jacob is neutered, utd on shots, rabies and heartworm treated. Jacob does well with my other rescues, potty trained via doggy door and is average on a leash. We are still working on some things, but he is doing great for having no socialization for over a year. I would describe Jacob as a big baby who loves to have you constant attention, though he does well when put in his kennel.
