Hi, my name is Peanut and I've been told I have a very pretty face! I am a shy kitty, but I do know humans are kind. When my foster mommy is petting me I put my butt in the air to show I like it. I have purred a few times for my foster mommy. I love treats such as deli turkey and canned food. I also enjoy catnip. Foster mommy says I am selfish with it as I like to push other kitties away so I can have it all. I love toys and the laser pointer. I will catch the red dot!
I currently live with my sister and 4 older kitties with no issues. I love them all and count on them to help me gain my confidence, which is why I would do best in a home with a confident kitty. If my new furever home doesn’t have another kitty, then my new mommy and daddy will need to help me come out of my shell. I have met my foster mom's dogs, but they are high energy and too much for me. I may do okay with a laid back dog. A home without a basement or no access to the basement would be ideal for me until I fully come out of my shell.
I haven’t met children, but an adult only home would be ideal. Since I am shy, the fast movements of small children could scare me.
As I get comfortable in my new home, I think I will learn to feel less shy. I hope my timid nature doesn’t scare you away, I truly would make a great addition to your home.
