Walker is a kind soul filled with love and happiness in his new life as a foster dane. It has not always been this way for him as he is another victim thrown out in the cold world of homelessness. Walker was pulled from the depths of despair by the caring hands of SRGDRR. When he was brought in he was scared, scarred, filthy, and emaciated. Struck with heart worm and infection, SRGDRR jumped into action and treated him with vet care and love. He was bathed, fed, hydrated, and housed. Currently, Walker is no longer 113 pounds, but a stunning 132. He has beaten his infections and gained confidence and joy. He is mitigating his heartworm with doxycycline and heartguard prevention. Well on his way to recovery, there is light at the end of the tunnel for this ol’ boy. He eats well and enjoys playing with other danes. He knows “sit” and “lay down”. He needs house manners, so a strong person with time for training and attention are needed. Patience is also required as he loves to explore his new environment.
