He is 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds.

Lance has been with us since January 18th. He weighs 12.7 pounds. He is a sprite young boy at 2 years old. Lance loves to play fetch as well as tug of war. Chew toys and tug toys are his favorite. He looooves to go on walks, which turn into runs, at least twice a day! He does not like precipitation and will relieve himself on a porch or patio to avoid weather. However, since we do not allow him to go potty alone, he has no choice but to join us into the yard. He loves attention and belly rubs. If you’re working at the table he will sit by your feet. He knows the commands “sit,” “down,” “shake,” and is very intelligent with great potential to learn more commands. He does not like being confined in a crate but does enjoy having it left open to relax in or to store his toys in (yes, he does carry his toys in and out of his crate! :) We do allow him to sleep with one of us in a bed; he does sleep through the night. One issue we are working on is that he can, and will, jump on table tops and as high as counter tops to steal food (or toys). He gets along great with our 25 pound male cat and 5 pound female Yorkie. He does not often vocalize, unless there is a knock on the door that surprises him. He has interacted very well with both male and female “strangers.” Currently, he is being vetted for unknown health issues that have not yet been identified. Lance is undeniably lovable, intelligent, and well-behaved.
