Teka Takes Time--She's Worth It! the Cat needs a home
Teka is one of those cats for whom hard work, dedication, and a love of felines really paid off. She was rescued from the streets of Coney Island with her kittens when the latter were only 1 week old. We know that she had been living on the streets for quite a while before that, and had at least two litters of kittens before dedicated rescuers were finally able to bring her in, get her spayed, and show her that living with humans is actually pretty great.
This beauty has a slightly tilted head, which only makes her even cuter! She loves having a human companion now that she’s living inside and enjoys petting time so, so much. However, Teka can get overstimulated easily, so she would do best in a quiet, laid back home without children. She’s the sort of kitty who rewards the right person or people with a wealth of affection, if they’re patient, understanding, and respect her. As long as she’s introduced properly, Teka does well with other cats, too! She just requires a little extra time—but she’s worth it.
Teka is spayed, FeLV/FIV negative, and up to date on vaccines. If you’d like to meet Teka and see if she’s the special girl for you, contact Christie at [email protected]!
