Shay the Dog needs a home
Shay was a Four Paws dog 6 years ago, was adopted, but now her owners have to give her up. So she is back at Four Paws in the same foster home as before, to try again. She is now 10 years old (Dec. 2017). She can be nervous in new situations, but settles down quickly and will make a good family pet for her new people. We aren't sure of her breed but think she could be a Chug (chihuahua/pug) or a Puggle (Pug/beagle) Shay is a sweetie, to say the least. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She LOVES kids and is fine with other dogs. She also loves to snuggle. She could do with losing a few lbs, and her hips seem to be somewhat painful. If she loses some weight that will help with the mobility. She is very afraid of loud noises (fireworks, thunder, ect). She MUST be kept inside during such occasions. She is good on a leash, but does pull out of a collar, so she should use a harness. Please give this girl the new family and home that she deserves!
