Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Ginger the Cat needs a home
Ginger came in to another rescue as part of a trap-neuter-return project. She was going to be part of our barn cat program but she had different ideas! She did not do well on the farm, she got stressed and stopped eating. She came back to us and started gaining weight as soon as we took her back in foster care. She can have a little bit of an attitude sometimes. She wants things done her way! She tolerates the other cats, but she would also be very happy being an only cat. She loves to sleep in bed with her people and would love to keep you company!
If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: http://www.commcat.org . Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. You can also visit us at Petco in Janesville, where we show cats every other Saturday. Please email or call ahead to make sure we will be there to meet you!
Our adoption fees are $50 for adult cats, $85 for kittens under one year, and double the love with two adult cats for $85. All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia), and microchipped.
