Belle the Cat needs a home
Meet Belle! This pretty lady is about 5 1/2 years old. She was rescued by the Erie County SPCA from a overcrowding situation. Belle has been a Tabby Town resident since April of 2013. As with many animals who come from overcrowding situations, Belle is not the most social butterfly, she is quite shy and timid. She is still working on her people skills. She will run and hide from most people. Once she gets to know you she does enjoy being petted and is affectionate. She also gets along well with all the other kitties here. Belle had all of her teeth removed due to stomatitis.
We understand that Belle is a work in progress, the volunteers are working with her everyday trying to get her more comfortable around people. Belle will need a patient person who could give her all the time she needs to learn to trust people. She will require time and patience to blossom into the wonderful kitty she is. Belle would do best in a quiet home, with no small children or dogs. Please consider making this kitty a part of your family.
