Adopt a Miniature Pinscher / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat)

Searching for my best friend! Ginger is a 5 year old, petite (7lb) min pin (possible chihuahua) mix. She was picked up as a stray at a local, high kill shelter. Ginger is truly a people dog. She wants to follow you or be lying in your lap. She gets along with her foster family’s small dogs and even a big dog but clearly prefers the humans in the household. Ginger is doing well with her house manners. She is crate trained and does not have accidents in the crate. In addition, she will potty outside on a leash. She will need reinforcement, especially when the weather is bad. Ginger has a very sweet temperament. However, she is delicate. She could be placed in a home with older, gentle children, but would make a great addition to an all adult or small dog experienced home as well.
