"My name is Teddy and I am finally healthy and ready to find a forever home. Let me tell you a little bit about myself so you can see if we might be a match. I am a Chow Chow mix and have many attributes of the breed. I can be aloof at times and at other times I love attention. In many ways I am like a cat – I do what I want when I want, but you will love me for it! If you love Chow Chow you will LOVE me!
"I am born to be downright suspicious of strangers, but for the right person, and I will be a fiercely loyal companion. I would make a wonderful protection dog and alert you when visitors come to the door or into your yard. I also LOVE food. Like love, love, love it. I once enjoyed an Arby’s sandwich. (It sure was nice of them to leave that out on the table for me.)
"When I was rescued I had a horrible ring around my neck where someone hurt me, but since then I have healed. My former foster mom really helped me heal medically and emotionally. My ideal home must have no other animals or small children, and because I like to check out the neighborhood, I also need a secure fenced backyard."
Teddy weighs 45 lbs. and his estimated birthdate is 8/4/2012. His adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 15% discount on adoption fees].
