Adopt a German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat)

Our beautiful girl Aria is just a beauty.  And she as smart as she is beautiful.  She was born in a wonderful Foster Home and was cared for by Dorri (her Mom) for the first 8 weeks of life.

Dorri was rescued from the streets of Dallas during a terrible rainstorm.  She was not too sure about humans at first, but she quickly learned that indoor life was good.  She was looking for her Forever Home, when it was discovered, before her spay surgery that she was pregnant.  (Funny, she didn't mention that when we interviewed her for the program.)

Aria is one of her smaller pups.  At five months of age she is only about 30 lbs.  She is long and lean and a gorgeous black with brindle legs.  If you look closely at her chest, you will see a few white hairs that looks as if she has been in some paint.

Aria is described as the smart one in the litter.  She was
1st one to figure out how to get out of the whelping pool, then the corral. She loves to snuggle, content walking or jogging on a leash, and knows how to "sit".

When we are looking for homes for our puppies, we look for homes where they are home more than not.  Puppies take lots of time and training, so we want to make sure the family is committed to working with the new member of the family and helping it to be a successful transition.  

We love having kids in our adoptive families; however, older kids who understand how to handle a puppy is necessary.  Kids should understand that puppies will use their mouths to investigate their world and understand how to handle nipping and the importance of keeping a puppy safe.

Aria's birth date is August 31, 2017.  She is currently approximately 30 lbs.
