Adopt a Pointer / Mixed (medium coat)
Peggy Sue the Dog needs a home
Name: Peggy Sue
DOB: 2013
Weight:55lbs
Adoption Fee: $300
~~Hi my foster family calls me Peggy or Peg! My background is very unknown because I was found as a stray and they believed I was used to have a lot of puppies and probably didn’t have the best living condition. My foster family said that based on my past they can’t believe how resilient, sweet and trusting I am to all I encounter. I get along so well with other dogs I love to play with other dogs almost more so than going on walks! I love to take breaks from play and cuddle with my foster mom and dad I may be 60 pounds but I find a way to curl up in as tight of a ball as possible so I can snuggle on their lap. I LOVE LOVE food my foster family and the vet said I’m very underweight so hopefully I can gain some weight but I guess it helps that I’m a good eater!
I am working on potty training I have had a few accidents inside but when I’m left in my crate during the day I have had no accidents in there and my foster family thinks that I will be fully potty trained in no time because I’m really smart and I watch and follow the other dogs go potty outside and then I do the same.
I do like to jump up and greet people so small kids may not be the best for me but I’m also working on not jumping but I just get so excited when my foster mom and dad get home I can’t help myself sometimes.
I’m a really good rider in the car I don’t have to be in a crate and I just sit in the backseat and look out the window and then when I’m bored I just sleep! I may be a pointer but I must not have the hunting gene because I don’t notice rabbits or squirrels!
Peggy is the sweetest girl ever she truly deserves to find her happy ending after and have a family she can count on to take care of her and love her unconditionally. She is beyond special and any family that is lucky enough to have Peggy will get so much love in return.
