Bella the Dog needs a home
Hi! I'm Bella. I am a beautiful 2 year old (approximately), 55 pound spayed female. I am in search of a place to call home! I have had a tough life. In June of 2017, I was shot in the leg. I was taken to the shelter where I gave birth to 6 puppies the next day. I nursed my puppies one week and was picked up by my foster mom where I could feed my babies and heal in peace. I had a cast on my leg while I was nursing but all is well now. My puppies all found good homes and I was happy for them, but now I am looking for my own home! Due to my leg injury, I have a slight limp but it is hardly noticeable. I am pretty laid back and very gentle. I am a bit fearful of men in my life. It helps if there is another dog in the house. If I see them in a relationship with a man, it makes me feel more comfortable and I am more willing to trust him. I LOVE playing with other dogs and would love a medium size or bigger brother or sister. I am house broken and not destructive, but due to my past, I have a little bit of anxiety if I am left in a kennel. I am gaining more confidence everyday and being around other confident dogs helps me to trust more. I would love to find a home that is patient and kind to me while I adjust. If you give me a chance, I promise to love you always and will fill that missing part of your life!
