She is 8 months old and weighs 7 pounds.

Skyye is a very sweet and loving puppy that had a rough start in life and we at SAY Rescue would like to give her a second chance so she can have a FABULOUS rest of her life; she is a baby and has her whole life ahead of her!!!
Skyye is pure puppy, she loves to run, jump, and play. She is a bundle of JOY that will steal your heart every time she looks at you with those loving brown eyes! She is a very smart girl. Skyye does potty outside and will go on command. She will sit for a treat, loves playing with her toys, enjoys chewing on her bully sticks and she sleeps through the night. Skyye loves to sleep in her bag while riding in the car and you do not even know she is there. Her favorite pass time, practically all day, is playing with her foster siblings. She plays tug of war with her toys, steal the bones, hide the ball and run from room to room chasing each other. Skyye also loves to run and chase her buddies out in the fenced in yard (weather permitting).
Skyye came into rescue with a fractured leg that healed out of alignment. Two different doctors have agreed that we should not do surgery on her leg and just leave it as it is. She runs around fine on the leg and it doesn’t stop her from doing everything that any puppy can do! She also has congenital dry eye syndrome that will require putting drops in her right eye twice a day to produce tears. She will be having surgery on her left eye, which did not respond to the medication and the saliva duct surgery will provide moisture to that eye. She will need drops in her right eye and flushing of the left eye twice a day. Skyye will bring happiness to your heart and home, she is so much fun to have around!
Skyye's ideal forever home will have someone that has the time for a puppy; to teach her all the things a new puppy requires and that is home most of the day. She would love a young four legged companion to play around with and that would keep her company when her person would have to leave the house for a couple of hours. She is a little timid when meeting new people and will require lots of socialization. She loves to run and chase the other dogs in her foster home so a fenced in yard would be perfect for Skyye. Skyye will also make someone a great walking companion as she is full of lots of puppy energy. She loves to cuddle on the couch with her person and foster siblings after she has run out of energy. She will need professional obedience training as all puppies do, to help to teach her manners.
