Meet Owen! This amazing 8 month old boy was rescued from a kill shelter in NC. If you love Ragdolls, then look no further!  This kitty has all the personality traits Ragdolls are known and loved for. He is very docile and affectionate, he goes limp and relaxed when you pick him up and will let you turn him inside out and he's happy. He loves to give kisses! He follows his foster mom all around the house and insists on "helping" her with whatever she is doing. He gets along well with other animals, and is currently being fostered with several other dogs and cats.  He has a beautiful coat that is medium length and very soft and thick. This gentle boy will make a wonderful companion for any household.  Owen is currently being fostered in NC while he awaits transport to DPR, which is scheduled for Feb. 18th, but we are accepting applications for him now!

Owen is neutered, has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms    
      Adoption fee is: $150

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
