Boo Too the Rabbit needs a home

Boo was abandoned along with several other babes just after the Easter weekend.  He was picked up by MHRR in the summer of 2012. He was adopted along with Blossom, and they returned to MHRR in Jan 2018.


Boo is a little timid but curious to start and opens up quickly. We guessed he is about 6-7 months old when he first arrived, making him around 6 yrs old now. He is a beautiful medium-sized guy, overweight and currently around 6-7lbs. He has been around gentle dogs and done well.  He lost his mate Blossom in mid-Feb, and would likely do well with another bunny.


Thumper is fostered in Baton Rouge, LA. Transportation can sometimes be arranged to other areas as we have contacts in a few LA and south MS cities.

Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue asks a $50 adoption fee per rabbit, or $80 for a pair. We strongly recommend indoor homes for our adopted pets - they are part of the family and there are many perils of living outdoors, even in the safest of hutches. Rabbits are tattooed "MHR" in the ear (while under anesthesia) and are spayed/neutered before they are adopted. Each adopted pet comes with an adoption certificate and a week's supply of their current diet. All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped or previously tattoed with "MHR" in the ear. Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
