Leo the Dog needs a home
A VERY SPRY OLDER GUY: 11 years old / 19 lbs. Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm. Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week. I worked my way to MM’s a few months ago after my owner of 11 years became too ill to take care of me. Then I was adopted for about 2 months but returned due to going potty in the home. So, I’ll need some help with potty training as I haven’t quite gotten the hang of it. I think I just need to wear a belly band inside the home, so let’s talk about that. I’m very friendly and a great companion who’s very active, especially for my age, so I’d love a family that will take me on walks and help me burn my Terrier energy. I love to watch TV, yes, you heard that right, I find it very interesting. I must have watched a good bit of TV previously with my man, as I’ll sit and watch for a while. I’m so silly! I want to be your only pet as I don’t care for other pets and have negative reactions to them. I’ve met both dogs and kitties at the MM shelter and didn’t like them, as well as not wanting to share my person with other pets, in my previous home. I’m pretty good with ‘heel’, ‘stay’ and ‘come’, and will get even better with more training! Treat rewards are also helpful and yummy! Please be careful around door as I may try to slip out and I don’t want to get lost or hurt. I met a 10-year-old at the MM shelter and was friendly, but best no very young kids since I’m an older guy and may appreciate their energy. Energy level: 5-7+. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $100.00.
