Martha the Dog needs a home
Martha hasn't had an easy life. She spent part of it in a shelter, crated most of the time. She's spent the last year in a foster home in KY, learning to be around people.
For the first 6 months she pretty much hid. But through love and perseverance, she finally began to come out of her shell. Wonderful things began to happen. Martha would lay on a bed with her foster Mom, and even start snuggling. Recently she started playing with one of the other family dogs, a huge move on her part, and sitting on her foster Mom's chair while she has her morning coffee. She's house trained and used to using a doggie door, and would do best in a similar environment/fenced yard area as she is not used to a leash. Martha has come so very far, and is now in NJ looking for her forever home.
