Joy the Dog needs a home
Joy is a gorgeous Flat-Coated Retriever mix with flowing black hair! She and her littermates were strays found roaming around near a street in Southaven in May when they were 2-3 months old. They were all very timid around people, but they have come so far thanks to our volunteers who have spent time with them! Even children have come to read to them. Joy is still a little skittish and will need to go to a home where her humans are patient with her, but she will be a wonderful dog as she continues to learn to trust people (treats work with her!) She and her sister, York, are our Black Beauties! They will both do well with another dog to show them the ropes.
Joy is utd on shots, spayed and on heartworm preventative.
