Adopt a Maine Coon / Mixed (long coat)
OH - Lacie (Courtesy Post) the Cat needs a home
**THIS IS A COURTESY POST**
Lacie is not a Maine Coon Rescue cat. To adopt or obtain more information, please contact Danielle at [email protected] .
Lacie was a patient of Danielle, a veterinarian who is her current caregiver She had developed a mass on her face. The mass is suspected to be benign, but was never fully removed and biopsied. The previous owner, a sweet old lady, was moving to California and did not want to put the cat through the stress of moving if the mass continued to grow and spread. She signed her over to Danielle to care for her. This was about a year ago and so far the mass has remained the same size and causes her no problems; it's barely even noticeable. This leads Danielle to believe it is benign and will probably not cause her future issues. She is otherwise healthy, except mildly overweight, which is being addressed. She is up to date on all vaccines, has tested negative for FIV, Felv, heartworm, and fecal worms. She is on Revolution monthly.
