Name: Teddy    Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix  

Best Guess for Age: 2 years old as of 10/27/17    SEX: male

Approximate Weight: 60 lbs.

Has Lived With: other dogs 

Currently Living at: D.C. Boarding. 

Teddy is a handsome 2 year old Terrier mix. He weighs about 60 lbs and, because of his age, may fill out a bit but is otherwise done growing. We don't know how this sweet goof ended up in a shelter but it hasn't dampened his spirits one bit and he can't wait to meet his forever family!

Teddy will need plenty of exercise and playtime each day to be a happy and healthy pup. He would love to go on daily long walks, hikes and regular trips to the dog park. After he's tuckered out, Teddy loves cuddling up for a nice nap and belly rub. He can't wait to go to obedience training with his new family so that he can bond with his people and become his very best self!

Teddy is good with other dogs so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. The nice folks at Lucky Dog don't know how Teddy is with young kids or cats but if you're interested, let us know and we can try to find out!

"Volunteer feedback:  I have taken Teddy to the dog park the past couple days, and he has been fantastic. He really wants to run and likes being chased. He has made friends with all the dogs who like to run, and has been very polite when other dogs don't want to play."

Like most shelter dogs, Teddy may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
