Luka is a very gentle and sweet 3 year-old Lab mix male who looks a little rough around the edges. He may not have had the easiest life before being surrendered to a county dog shelter by his owner but his luck has changed and he’s got a bright future ahead of him. Luka relishes attention from people and will soak up all he can get. When we were taking his photos, he was a little nervous at first as he didn’t know what was going on but he soon became very relaxed and really enjoyed being a lap dog. Luka has been great with the other dogs in his foster home and has excellent crate manners. He should pick up the housetraining rules quickly in his new home. Luka is going to be an extremely devoted companion to the person or family who gives him a chance. Luka weighs about 57 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email [email protected] if you’re interested in Luka. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age.
