Hi my name is Mandy or Mandy Moo as my foster home likes to call me. I am a Silky Terrier and Maltese cross. I am a mixed breed small breed dog. Pee Pad trained and house trained. Yes you need a pee pad out for me in case I forget to tell you or you forget I need to go outside. Say you need the washroom and so do I at the same time. Hey it happens you know. Lol Age 5 1/2 Pee Pad trained and house trained Kennel trained for the vehicle not the home it causes me anxiety to be in the kennel when you are not home. Give me a nice warm dog bed and some soft blankets and I am happy. I do chew on my softie blanket for comfort. Those Sherpa blankets are my favourite. I bark talk and make little sounds as if I am talking to you to pick me up to go on your lap or I want to go for a walk or car ride. I will bark with happiness when you come home from work but I settle down again. I will bark when people come to the door too. I am not suitable for Condos, Apartments or Townhouses. *Looking for a single detached home with fully fenced secure yard* CATS - NO I am a Silky Terrier and Maltese I liked to chase them. Large Breed Dogs - NO It is in our policies and procedures We do not adopt out our rescues to homes with large breed dogs in the home. Children - NO children under the age of 10. Securely Fenced Yard Mandatory Force Free Dog obedience training Required this is a separate cost to the adopters. This not covered by the rescues adoption fees. Spayed Microchipped Dewormed with Drontal Plus Vaccines DA2VPP Rabies Vaccine How it works to meet me: 1) Email my rescue to ask when their next meet and greet day is. 2) Tell my rescue about where you live your home, yard family, pets in the home. How long you work away from home. Is your home quiet or lots of visitors? This gives my rescue an idea if this would be a fit for me or not. 3) If our meeting goes well my rescue will send you an adoption application to fill out. 4) If your application is approved then a home visit will be set up with 2 volunteers within 2 weeks. Remember they are volunteers they are busy too. 5) Home visit once approved then your references are called. If it all checks out next you are asked to sign up for dog obedience training classes. This to ensure I am going to the right home for me and to protect me.
