Misty the Dog needs a home
What can we say about Misty, aka Misty Blue, Hippopotamus? Our wonderful, loving Lab/mastiff mix has multiple nicknames because she is so loved at Camp. Misty is a total sweetheart, a “Velcro dog”! She is affectionate, house broken, knows basic commands. Misty is excellent on a leash and toy/food motivated for easy training, shows no destructive behaviors. She is an older gal at approximately 5 years young who is searching for someone out there that will take her to a home where she can live forever. Misty was surrendered and lived with a cat in her old home, she is good on leash when out with other dogs, but not well socialized with them- easily walked and handled, best as an only dog. She is a Camp favorite and we want her with someone who will love her as much as we do! We are not sure about her history, she is a bit shy on approach, it may take a couple visits and walks at Camp for her to “Velcro” to her new Mommy or Daddy.... once she does that, you have a foot warmer, bed warmer, couch warmer (in this weather, who doesn’t need one of those) for the rest of her life!
