Portia is a sweet girl who loves people and especially loves to give little people kisses. She enjoys short walks and likes to snuggle in bed when she returns. She enjoys chewing on her antler when her foster mom is away. She is potty trained and will bark when she needs to go out. Portia has not experienced a crate due to having her puppies. However, when left out she's an excellent girl and sleeps on the bed. She gets along with dogs and cats. However if you have a scared cat that will run, she will chase. She does great with laid-back cats! A 6 ft fenced yard is a must, as she likes to chase birds and bugs that fly! She was recently treated for a mild case of heartworms. She had a litter of puppies in May so please forgive her motherly figure as she still has some weight to lose. This girl has had a rough life and is ready to put it all behind her and be the best family pet she can be!

She is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. She is in a foster home.

Our adoption fee is $130.00 and it helps to cover a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.
