I found Charlemagne in a neighborhood in West Baltimore where I've been TNRing. I was told by several people that he had been someone's indoor pet but they had a house fire. During the fire he got out and then the owner moved, leaving him behind. I have been seeing him very sporadically over the last year and was so excited to find him last week, literally the day before I moved out of the area. He is a super sweet, gentle and affectionate gray and white medium-length hair kitty. He can be a bit nervous at first but really craves attention and pretty much purrs constantly. He went through the spay/neuter clinic at the MD SPCA and they estimated that he is about two years old. He was neutered, given his rabies and initial distemper vaccinations and treated with Revolution. Unfortunately, he tested positive for FIV but was negative for FeLV.
