Poppy the Dog needs a home
How gorgeous is this girl? Our Poppy is a young lab/doberman mix, about 1 1/2 years old and about 45 pounds. Poppy is strong, athletic girl. She is sweet, but with a streak of independence...not clingy. She is a little shy for the first few minutes when she meets new people, but very quickly warms up and loves to snuggle and give kisses, and would thrive in an active lifestyle.
Poppy loves to run and play, especially with her foster sister, but is open and friendly with other dogs, too. We don't know how she would be with cats, but she has a very friendly disposition and tries very hard to follow directions and please her humans. She is crate-trained, and potty trained.
Poppy got to attend a board-and-train at Peach Acres Training and is now ready for her own family!
She is a beauty, and we're excited to watch her blossom into the great dog and family member she is meant to be!
Since her rescue, she has been fully vetted, spayed. brought up-to-date on shots, chipped, and on heart worm prevention.
