Porter is a congenial gentleman who loves affection and enjoys very much being part of the family. He doesn't constantly demand attention, but he will gently lay his head on your lap from time to time, to let you know he's there should you be in the mood for some cuddling. If invited, he LOVES to play couch potato. He wants to make his human friends happy. If you want to cuddle, he would love to cuddle with you. If you invite him to join you on the couch, he would love to do that, too. But if you want some private time, he'll go entertain himself. Or take a snooze. A calm, quiet and easygoing boy, Porter loves going for strolls with his human friends and does well on his leash. He's a smart pup who answers to the 'sit,' 'down,' 'stay,' 'wait,' 'drop it,' 'off,' 'come' and 'shake' commands. And he's crate and house-trained. On his sleepovers, he enjoys rolling in the backyard grass and doing some zoomies before putting his head in his person's lap for some extra petting. He's happy to lounge about inside and out. Porter is a loyal, affectionate boy who's looking for a calm home with a fenced yard to explore and squirrels to watch. One with space to stretch out in for a nap would be ideal.
