Adopt a American Staffordshire Terrier / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

Hi, I’m Hallie but my foster mom calls me “great white buffalo”. I have a beautiful pittie block head with velvety soft white fur. I am a smart girl and a quick learner. I am fully potty trained and crate trained. I can sit, lay-down, shake and stay on command. I went through a training class at Canine Coach and LOVED it so much that my foster mom signed me up for another round. I am so excited! I love to go to school so I hope my forever family keeps bringing me.

Did I mention I am also an EXPERT dancer? Yup.  When I get excited I hop, gallop and frolic all at the same time while I swing my head around and grunt. That my friend, is what you call talent! Of course, like any teenage girl, I have a sassy side and will let you know if I want something… like treats, LOTS of them.

I currently live with two tiny humans that are 2 and 6 years old. I love them soooo much and I am very gentle with them. They give me lots of treats and I know to take them carefully. I have not lived with cats, but I do like to chase squirrels and rabbits so I don’t know if I would like to live with a cat. I live with another large dog and I tend to be more dominant. Sometimes I get a little too excited when meeting new dogs, so I prefer to take it slow on my introductions. That way I can be on my best behavior!

I love toys (I’ve never had those before!) and playtime with my people. I am good at playing by myself too though! I like to toss my ball around the backyard. Need a running partner? I’m your gal! But I am also happy just being snuggled up in a sunny spot with my people. My foster mom says if there are two things that I am a superstar in… it’s running and naps. I think it’s the perfect combination.

If you are looking for a goofy girl who can make you laugh with my snorts and wiggles, I’m your dog! My dream home would be full of love and attention. As long as I’m with my people, I will be happy.
