Adopt a Hound / Shepherd / Mixed (short coat)

Grunt the Dog needs a home
A fenced-in yard is essential if you wish to adopt this dog.
Grunt is a female Hound/Shepherd mix, born on May 1, 2016. She weighs 45# and stands 2’ tall. “I love other dogs, but can be a little shy when first meeting new people. I’ve never really been around children, but I’m pretty flexible and able to learn a new environment. I’m also learning to tolerate cats in my foster home. I have lived outdoors all my life, but really enjoy being inside in my foster home, mostly because I like to be around my foster mom and her dachshund, Millie. After being neglected most of my life, it’s nice to finally get some love and attention. I’m part hound dog, so I like to sniff, dig, and hunt, so I have to stay on a leash or in a fenced-in backyard when I'm outside. I love to play, sleep, and have my belly rubbed!!! (Check out my picture!) I would really like to live in a home where I would get lots of attention and where there are other dogs. I would also like plenty of space to run and play. I have a great personality and will make a really good forever pet and playmate. My foster mom would love to keep me, but she just doesn’t have enough room for me. I have had all my shots and been spayed. I hope you’ll consider adopting me.” The adoption fee is $125. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application.
