Adopt a Great Pyrenees (medium coat)

Children in the home must be at least 6 years old.

Female Great Pyrenees rarely cohabitate with other females successfully. Our goal is for each adoption to be a permanent placement, therefore homes that already have a female dog are not eligible to adopt a female Pyr.

Nina is a beautiful young Pyr who came to rescue as an outdoor girl, but she is doing great and much prefers living indoors and being with her people! This sweet dog is housetrained and gets along great with the other dogs at her foster moms home. She is a little shy at first with new people and new situations, but her foster is working on taking her new places and socializing her. Nina is really making progress and her favorite visitor is the neighbor and her little boy, who she is very gentle with. She loves to follow her foster mom around the house and really enjoys attention from her people. This loyal girl will be a wonderful dog for some lucky family. Nina just needs a bit of time to feel secure in new surroundings, but once she does, she is your BFF! Please consider making Nina a part of your family.

Medical: Spayed, dewormed, negative for heartworm, up-to-date on vaccinations and currently on flea, tick and heartworm preventative. This dog travels with a Interstate Health Certificate required by the USDA confirming that all the above criteria have been met.

Fencing: Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
