Sadie is 1 years old, loving, and full of life. Sadie originally came to Coastal as a 3-month-old puppy, in March of last year, along with her sister, Allie. She was adopted, but recently returned because she did not get along with her Doxie sister. Sadie is a big girl and very smart. She is housebroken, crate trained, and will retrieve her ball for hours or as long as one is willing to throw it. Sadie has even flown in a private plane and traveled with her previous owners. She has been in specialized German Shepherd training since she was 6 months old and knows her commands. Sadie is good around other large dogs, but will do best in a home with no small animals.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
