Meet Beauty 

Beauty is a 4year old, sweetest, American Staffordshire Terrier you’ll ever meet! I thought I had a loving forever home, until my “mom” decided she didn’t have time for me anymore. She put me outside with a heavy chain and padlock around my bare neck and hardly visited me. I was chained to a tree with only 4 feet to move around. I lost a lot of weight because “mom” didn’t feed me very often. Sometimes, the only time I got water was when it rained! I had a “brother” who was chained near me, but not close enough to play with. My only other friend that I could play with was a stray dog who would come and play every day! One day, a lady wandered into my backyard and actually talked to me. I was so excited that I rolled over on my back for a belly rub, and she gave me one! She came by everyday to give me food, fresh water, and lots of loving! She even bought me a beautiful pink collar to attach the chain to. My neck felt so much better! I even took a ride in her Jeep to see a doggie doctor to get a checkup and to get my vaccinations. It was exciting! Even though I was a little timid in a new place, it didn’t take me long to start loving on everybody I saw! My new friends at the doggie doctor all said they couldn’t believe I was so friendly for having lived on a chain. I love all sizes of people and dogs, too!  My “mom” decided she wanted to give me up because she couldn’t care for me, so she surrendered me. I just want someone to love and someone to love me. I’m not used to being on a leash, but the lady said I did really well on a leash with my Gentle Leader head halter. I even learned to sit for a treat! I haven’t lived inside for long, you would have to work with me on that, when it comes to doing my doggie business. Beauty will be spayed before going to her forever home.
