Hi, I'm Ramon an incredibly handsome black with salt and pepper merle/brindle (depends on who you ask) pattern Chow. I am forever grateful to C.A.R.L. for coming to my rescue and giving me the chance of finding my forever loving home.
I was visited by a C.A.R.L. volunteer and she gave me delicious chicken jerky sticks which I took gently from her hand. I also was given a squeaky toy by the kennel staff which I enjoy. If you've ever had the pleasure of having a Chow as part of your family, I've been described as being quite well behaved at C.A.R.L., but the most chowy chow C.A.R.L. has had. I've participated in playgroups and I did ok with the other dogs. There is no information on how I'd do with cats or children, but they think I'd do best in an adult only home.
I was fearful at the shelter I was rescued from, but I seem to be settling in nicely here, probably because I know I will receive great care from the C.A.R.L. staff and volunteers. I can sleep easier now dreaming of my forever family to come and take me home.
