Katona is a beautiful, young girl who just wants to be understood. She loves to be outside, exploring what the world has to offer. She is a very quick learner and is food motivated. She knows several commands and would love to show them to you. Katona does show interest in other dogs, large and small, but is easily corrected with the right motivation. Katona needs a home that will continue her training and will keep her engaged. If she is not socialized with the outside world, Katona can become overly protective.
Katona, like most other boxers, loves to chase lizards. She knows how to sit, stay and off, although when she is happy to see you, she forgets her manners. She loves to walk and be outside. She would love to be with a single, active person that would take her running or hiking, and be able to give her all of the attention she has been lacking. Katona does need a stronger leader that will not cause Katona to feel like she needs to take the leadership role. Katona needs to just be a dog and enjoy that role.
Katona loves to cuddle on the couch. She still has so much puppy energy and love to give! So if you are willing to be the boss so she can relax and enjoy being a young, sweet dog, please contact FBR! She is looking for you, too!!
