Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Tabby / Mixed (short coat)
Hank the Cat needs a home
HISTORY: HANK and his sister LOUISA were found by a kind person when they were only a few days old and struggling to survive. They have been bottle fed by our Felines & Friends volunteers. LOUISA thrived and was subsequently adoption. However, HANK continued to have bouts of diarrhea and was not growing. It was determined that HANK was born without a sphincter and had developed a chronic infection. In December 2016, he was taken to a specialist at VCA in Albuquerque who performed several delicate surgeries to address these issues. HANK is on a daily medications and is now thriving. Since he sometimes leaves small formed poop on the floor, he needs a home with little to no carpet and a person who doesn't mind sometimes having to pick up a little after him.
TEMPERAMENT: HANK is full of energy and loves to play with any kitten he meets so has helped socialize several feral kittens. His current companion is DAMARIS. HANK is a handsome boy with a short coat and brown tabby markings.
