Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat)
Augusta the Dog needs a home
Augusta
is a calm, gentle girl who loves lounging on dog beds and even lounging on the concrete in the sun at the Tails adoption center where she lives. She gets along well with dogs of all types, ages, and sizes. She also adores people from kids on up.
Augusta
came to us extremely emaciated and also suffering from some hair loss from not being on flea and tick prevention. She is now growing her hair back out in those patchy spots, and is becoming a real beauty. Come meet this gentle soul!

ALL PETS FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION: including exam, MICROCHIP, spay or neuter, Heartworm test, fecal, deworm, DA2PPv, Rabies (if old enough), as well as any other medications or surgeries the pet needs.
Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.
Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one. So spaces fill up fast! If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email [email protected] and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found. In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
