They tell me I share my name with a former United States President! Does this make me Presidential material? I'm a handsome, older gentleman who enjoys long walks and a good book. I'd like to sit by the fire with you and just relax because I'm over all that teenage energy stuff. I'm a true gentleman and I prefer to be with adults for some intelligent conversation. I'm leash trained and I do well on walks. I can be a bit timid sometimes, but please don't let that sway your opinion of me because I have an abundance of love and companionship to share. I'm alert and playful and ready for you to bring me home. We can share a Scotch or a glass of wine together, listen to some classical music, and talk about American history.
ABOUT ME: I'm a Hound/Lab mix, 8 years old and weigh about 58 lbs. I'm up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. I've had other dog friends but right now I haven't had much interest in making friends. They tell me it's OK, sometimes this happens in a shelter environment. The rescue people have videos of me playing with other dogs so I can prove to you that I am open to the possibilities! Give a guy a chance will you?
