Marco Polo D3869 the Dog needs a home
Marco Polo is a wonderful lab with all the goofy, happy, and playful energy typical to this breed.
Marco loves life and is up for anything. He enjoys going for walks, running around in the
yard, playing catch, sniffing around. He is a social, outgoing dog who loves meeting new
people and going on any adventure. He does like to sniff and dig around, but will stop
if you tell him to. Marco also enjoys the company of other dogs and is always
up for playtime with his four legged buddies. He is a about 60 pounds, and has not been around small dogs while in rescue. However, he does great with larger dogs and would love if his forever home had a four legged friend to keep him company.
Marco loves humans but also understands that they need to be away and does great in the kennel. You will never be alone with Marco in the house! If you enjoy the company of a dog who wants to please you, this is your pal. The ideal home for Marco would be someone that wants a loving pet, he is very low maintenance. He doesn’t bark much, loves to play and is always happy to see you and receive your love. He is house/kennel trained. He doesn't chew on things he shouldn't.
In general, Marco is a wonderful dog who is sure to win you over.
Marco Polo is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, and he is currently being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, Marco Polo will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on his commands with his handlers. Please contact us to find out more about Marco Polo.
