Elmer the Dog needs a home

I may not be the youngest dog here, but at 9 I’ve got a lot of years left. We Chihuahuas make up in longevity what we lack in size. You may see me favoring one of my back legs, but that’s actually good. I had a bad hip, (like many seniors do, right?) but I had surgery and got it all fixed up. I’m still recovering, but before long it will be good as new. Even with the limp I’m getting around pretty well, but I like being held and I’m an expert cuddler and kisser, so I’m fine with that. I came here because my owner died and I really miss having a home. I would love to have another one – maybe yours.
