Marjorie the Cat needs a home
So Marjorie is quite the determined young girl! We presume that someone must have tossed her out early on in her young life and she was struggling to make it on the streets. She was lucky enough to find a kind woman who would feed her some food but she wasn't able to trust her kind provider until one day she must have just had enough of living on her own or she had decided she was just too cold to sleep outside one more night so she just ran in the house the next time the kind lady came out to give her some food and sat in the middle of the living room surrounded by the resident big kitties! Tough little Marjorie just sat there very still and allowed the nice lady to pick her up and start to care for her. Sadly little Marjorie didn't make her move to be rescued before she lost a portion of her little ear to frost bite but she is now safe and warm at the shelter. While Marjorie is EXTREMELY loving and affectionate with the volunteers she would prefer to be an only cat or perhaps in a home with another cat that will respect her space. Marjorie would be a great fit for a child or adult that would like a kitty that is very sweet and would really enjoy lots of attention and affection. If you think your home might be just the spot for this little girl to spend the rest of her days please go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to fill out the Cat Adoption Application and as always our adoption fee for felines is free will to approved applicants.
