Ellie the Dog needs a home

Ellie and her siblings were displaced from their home during Hurricane Harvey and then just as they were getting to return, their precious mom (a beloved doxie rescuer) unexpectedly passed away.  Ellie has lost her home, mom and other doggie siblings all at once but she is safe with a loving foster who knew her mom.  

Ellie is very sweet and loves attention and to be patted.  Although shy and a bit slow to warm up, she’s becoming more comfortable in her foster home.  She is working to lose a couple pounds wile waiting for her vetting.  She loves her best buddy Nikki but can be adopted separately if it is the right home!  Please help Ellie find the home of her dreams.
