Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Golden Retriever / Mixed

Meet gorgeous Pecan! She is a 2 year old Lab and Golden Retriever mix that will likely be available in February and happy to be in a home. She has a gentle spirit and is well-behaved. Her foster mom reports that she seems to be house trained but she is able to leave the door open and she comes and goes outside as she pleases. Pecan enjoys a short walk in the evening but likes to spend her days relaxing on the couch, dog bed, or in a sunny backyard spot. In the evening, she rests comfortably on a dog bed in her foster mom's room. And this girl gets excited and dances around when it's meal time! She walks great on a leash but can be choosy when making new dog friends, so we'd recommend that she be your one and only. She is working on building her confidence and trust in humans, which comes easily, as she responds well to treats and warms up quickly!
