Adopt a Maltese / Poodle (Toy) / Mixed (long coat)

This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express from 12-4pm on Sat. Feb. 17th & Sun. Feb. 18th or until adopted. If interested, please fill out an application if you would like the first opportunity to meet prior to the start of the event. (We will pre-approve one home to meet per dog.)

Pompeii is a 2 year old Maltipoo who weighs about 10lbs. He has a non-shedding coat that is an option for those who have allergies or simply want a dog who doesn't shed. He will require regular grooming. We will be seeking an adopter who understands the grooming needs of this breed and demonstrates such on their application. Pompeii is super friendly and outgoing. He's 100% committed and loyal to his people. He is Mr. Velcro from the word go. He follows his people around from room to room and he wants to be where ever his people go.

Pompeii's hobbies are sleeping in the bed with his people, riding in the car and group howls. You howl. He howls. We all howl! He loves to play with the lazers. His foster mom will shine in under the covers and he goes crazy digging for it. He currently lives in a foster home with other dogs, cats and birds. He doesn't care about anything but his people. He gets along with everyone else but he's not necessarily a companion for other animals as he is a companion for the human in the home. 

Pompeii is not a dog who can be left alone for hours on end at home. He won't thrive. He will fall into depression. He is a perfect dog to go to work with someone, for someone who wants a dog who can be quiet (unless you howl--then he will howl) while they work from home or for someone who can take him with them.

Pompeii is looking for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children in the home they need to be older kids. He's not really a kids dog. He will be friendly but he's not into kids like he is adults.
