If you were going do to a photomontage of my life, most of my pics would be of me snoozing away.  Foster Mommy says I am a hard napper. That isn’t true, I only like to nap on soft stuff like couches. If napping was a pawfessional sport, I would take the gold trophy.  So Foster Mom wakes me up like you would do to a toddler child, because if I don’t pull an all-dayer, she will be pulling and all-nighter. I am Jessie but a girl Jessie not a boy and I am 6 months and weigh 33 pounds, so I am expected to be on the brink of large when grown, maybe in the 50’s range.  I was found at the Medina River when I was just 3 months old so they don’t know my hairytage, but think I am a Shepherd mixed with Lab. Over the past 3 months in foster care I have learned that most humans are actually nice and know better than to leave puppies at the river. I mastered the doggie door like a boss and I have made a few pee pee mistakes, but if Foster Mom is consistent on my potty breaks, I am accident free. Good job Foster Mom.  Treats really help me learn your human rules, I will do anything to get that bacon in my mouth.  I will put my hiney down for a SIT and bundle up my energy to do a STAY if it means that bacon will drop into my tummy.  I LOVE BACON!  I also LOVE dog friends. Even the bossy dog here at my foster house likes me because I respect her, I have no dreams of being top girl, I just want to go with the flow.  Thud. That is the sound a cat makes when I body slam them.  I don’t hurt or bite the kitty, but I do enjoy to chase and plop them down. Foster Mommy says it is very alarming to see me do that.  Hey, look, it is alarming to me too, specially when they hisssssssss, I think that means “stop, I will cut you” in cat, but I only speak dog and human, so I run to hide behind my Foster Mom when I hear that hissssssss.  Based on my afurmentioned experience with cats, I might do better in a home without them or someone who wants to continue showing me that it isn’t okay to messsssss with cats. At 6 months old, I am also really into chewing on things, but Foster Mommy says “it’s just a stage”. Gosh, I sure am telling on myself a lot. One more thing, Foster Mommy also says I am in a thief stage, so if you are missing a shoe or remote control, you might want to check my bed, maybe the cats framed me, that is pawsible.  If you like what you see and read, adopt me!  Please email [email protected] and tell them you want ME!
