MOJO the Dog needs a home
Meet Mojo! This darling Senior guy is a 14 year old Dorkie - that’s a super cute combo of a Dachshund and Yorkie. This poor little guy was surrendered to a rural kill shelter when his owner had to move to a nursing home. Mojo was just miserable in that cold shelter with no beds or blankets on the concrete floor and a very kind young woman who works at a vet saw Mojo there and took him out of the shelter to try and find a rescue for him. Critter Cavalry Rescue picked this little guy up and took him in to a wonderful foster home and the journey began. He is not ready for a nursing home and has plenty of spunk left to be a great companion for someone who wants to have a little friend by their side. And we do mean little since Mojo tips the scales right at 7.5 pounds of cuteness. Mojo is in pretty good shape for his 14 years and recently had a dental and some teeth removed. Mojo’s favorite activities are eating, sitting in the chair with you while you work on the computer and snuggling up with you while you read or watch tv. It’s hard not to smile when you look at Mojo and his big brown eyes and sweet grin.
