Sweetheart Madeline is sweet as can be and a gentle soul, once you get to know her. Unfortunately, she had a rough road getting here and is still very slow to warm up to new people and surroundings. Give her a bit of time, and the wiggle butt is fully active!
She loves to be with her people and enjoys being with her foster fur siblings, also. Squeaky toys always get her attention and she enjoys de-stuffing stuffed animals periodically, too :)
Madeline is looking for a family that will love her, with her quirks. Unexpected movements and noises, including cars, make her skittish. She does bark at some characters on TV and when dogs bark on the TV or computer.
In spite of needing to fatten up this skinny girl, she is a picky eater. Adding a tiny bit of chicken, cheese or bread helps to keep her eating, or adding canned food to the dry.
She is an escape artist, knowing how to open up some gate designs: she did it in the shelter and in her foster home, once. Openings in the lower areas of the fence will need to be checked for this girl;)
