Jorden the Dog needs a home
Meet Jorden, a super sweet senior girl who was coasting into a life of retirement leisure when life dealt her a bad hand. First her "Daddy" passed away, then her "Mom" had to move out of their home into an apartment. Unfortunately for everyone, Jorden exceeded the weight limit for mom's new apartment, and with a very heavy heart, mom asked Animal Friends-VA to help Jorden find a new family with which she could spend her twilight years. Everyone who has met Jorden has remarked on what an awesome girl she is. She is very laid back, gets along with kids, other dogs, and ignores cats. She is okay with being crated, but has free run at her foster's house and has been absolutely fine. She is house-trained, knows basic commands like "sit","lay down" and "drop it", walks very well on a leash and enjoys riding in a car. Her foster has observed Jorden "shopping" the toy bin, and discovered that Jorden really likes to play with balls. She's not much for playing fetch if she has to run, but she enjoys a good game of short-distance toss and she's perfectly happy amusing herself. Jorden will make a wonderful, low-key companion for someone.
